Army terms India’s provocative statements ‘irresponsible rhetoric’
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army has slammed the “irresponsible rhetoric” of the Indian leadership, saying that the country’s armed forces are prepared to “thwart any misadventure”.
The army top commanders’ resolve comes following Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s belligerent rhetoric with his last month statement in which he said: “Pakistan has already lost three wars. Our armed forces will not take more than 7-10 days to make Pakistan bite the dust.”
According to the ISPR, the armed forces’ reaction comes during the 229th Corps Commanders’ Conference presided over by army chief General Javed Bajwa held at the GHQ in Rawalpindi on Thursday. – Statesman
