Edwardes College honours its students

Peshawar: Professor MS Zaki, principal of Edwardes College Peshawar, said that through conviction, commitment and hard work Pakistani youth would regain past glory in sports, particularly Squash.
He was speaking during a prize distribution ceremony in honour of the college Squash team that won the inter-college squash championship. Vice Principal Muhammad Jamal, Director Sports Nawabzada Khan, Professor Nasir Iqbal, teachers and students also attended the ceremony.
Edwardes College Squash team after long 20 years won the title by defeating their arch rival Islamia College Peshawar.
Khushal Riaz Khan, captain of college Squash team presented the champion trophy to Principal Zaki who congratulated the Director Sports Nawabzada Khan and Squash team for their outstanding performance and brought the honour to college. “Besides, curricular and academic activities the students of historic institution Edwardes College perform outstandingly in extra-curricular activities also”, added Professor Zaki.
Later on members of Squash team, Captain Khushal Riaz Khan, Saad Zubair Abbasi and Jalal Khan were given awards and certificates for winning the inter-college squash championship 2020. It is worth mentioning that Khushal Riaz Khan remained invincible while representing the oldest educational institution in all the matches during last two years.
