PESHAWAR: A three-member Indian military team is expected to take part in the anti-terrorism military exercises in Pabbi, Times of India has reported.
Military teams from all member countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) will take part in the exercises. India is the last country to confirm participation in the exercise, which begin on October 3. Earlier, Russia, China, Iran, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have announced their participation.
The SCO member states were invited for the exercises by Pakistan in March, this year. India has said that despite participating in the exercises, its position on Pakistan will not change. The military exercise will take place in Charat area of Pabbi Tehsil in Nowshera District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
