PESHAWAR: Bollywood Queen Katrina Kaif and Vicky Koushal’s wedding will take place on Thursday, December 9 at Six Senses Fort Barwara, a 700-year-old fort in Sawai Madhupur district of India’s Rajasthan.
Indian media have reported that a lawyer from Rajasthan has filed a complaint against the manager of Six Senses Fort in the District’s Legal Services Authority. The lawyer said that the roads around the fort have been closed for traffic from December 6 to 12.

Along with this complaint, he also requested to open one way of the road in view of the problems faced by the people. According to the lawyer, hundreds of people daily go to the temple daily, but roadblocks have hurt people’s feelings as they are having difficulty getting to the temple.
Meanwhile Katrina and Vicky reached Jaipur from Mumbai with their families and guests yesterday after which they left for Sawai Madhupur district of Rajasthan with a convoy of 15 vehicles. Authorities in Rajasthan were making arrangements to maintain law and order in the area during the wedding ceremony. The officials have issued instructions to maintain cleanliness and ensure smooth flow of traffic. The wedding will be held from December 7 to 10 and will be attended by 120 guests.
The 700-year-old Brora Fort has recently been converted into a hotel. Bollywood actress Malaika Arora had also attended its inauguration in October, this year. The fort has 48 rooms and the rent of each room is between Rs50, 000 and Rs700,000. Separate suites have been booked for Katrina and Vicky at a cost of Rs7 lakh per night. No list of wedding guests has been released but it is expected that some celebrities from Bollywood, business and politics will attend. According to police official Rajesh Singh, “We have not been given a list of guests nor have we asked them for it.”
