PESHAWAR: ‘The Fame Game’ series will premiere on 25th February on Netflix which will feature Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, popularly known as ‘Dancing Girl’ in lead role.
‘The Fame Game’ produced by filmmaker Karan Johar will be Madhuri’s first step into digital world. According to the Indian Express, the first teaser of the web series was released in September last year, with the name of ‘Finding Anamika’, but now it has been renamed as ‘The Fame Game’ and its release date has also been announced.

Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar have announced that the series would be released on 25th February. “The Fame Game” is directed by Karishma Kohli and Bejoy Nambiar. The series features the life of ‘Superstar’ actress Anamika Anand who lived a luxurious and ‘bold life’. Madhuri has played the role of ‘Anamika’ who feels incomplete despite being busy with media, cameras, fans, luxury parties and other events.
The web series features the professional and personal life of a well-known and ‘bold’ actor and it is not yet clear whether it is based on the life of former Indian actress Anamika Anand or it is just a work of fiction. Sanjay Kapoor will also appear in the series with Madhuri Dixit after 25 years. The last appeared together in the famous 1997 romantic film ‘Mohabbat’.
Although Sanjay Kapoor has already worked in digital web series and movies, the fame game will be Dixit’s first step into the digital world. Before the said web series, her last film ‘Kalank’ was released in 2019. Madhuri Dixit is one of the most popular actresses of 1990. She is also known as ‘Dancing Girl’ and has gained popularity because of her iconic dancing moves.
