He said that the youth should pledge for tree planting across the country. Speaking on the occasion of Scouts Foundation Day, the Prime Minister said that every Pakistani family should plant and take care of at least five trees.
He said that unfortunately the biggest reason for climate change is that people did not care about the world. He claimed that the government has achieved all the tree plantation targets and will complete plantation of 10 billion trees. “It is a proud moment for the country that our efforts are being recognized globally. If we want to save the country for future generations, we have to plant more trees.” The Prime Minister said that 12 climatic conditions of the country allow us to sow seeds of any fruit on any land.
