PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have released some details of the suicide bomber and his facilitators involved in the Qissa Khawani Bazaar mosque blast.
Sources said that a facilitator of the network involved in the blast and the suicide bomber have been identified. The bomber was identified as Abdullah but he used to keep changing his name. The sources said that data and photo of the facilitator of have also been found who was identified as Hassan, a resident of Jamrud, Khyber district.

The police said investigation team also has completed interrogation of the rickshaw driver who took the suicide bomber and the facilitator to the crime spot. After interrogation, the CCTV footage of other places of the city has been obtained.
The police said that operations are underway in different districts against the network involved in the blast at Kocha Risaldar Mosque in Peshawar. The police informed that several teams of CTD are stationed in tribal districts.
The Islamic State (Terrorist Organisation) on its propaganda website has claimed responsibility for attacking a Shiite mosque. The attack was widely condemned and Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed to clear the country from terrorism. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General Police Moazzam Jah Ansari said the terrorist has blown himself up in the third row of the mosque. The terrorist was wearing black clothes probably to make it easier to enter the Shia mosque.
The FIR [first information report] of suicide attack at Jamia Masjid Kocha Risaldar has been registered in Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police station on the complaint of Khan Razzaq police station’s Station House Officer (SHO).
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday claimed that accused involved in shia mosque suicide attack have been identified. In a video statement released on Twitter, Sheikh Rashid claimed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has reached the “bottom of the matter” and in a day or two they will be able disclose the terror network responsible for the attack.
