PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Mehmood Khan on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of new General Bus Stand in Sardar Garhi and inaugurated newly established Family Park at Bashirabad.
Briefing the media, the chief minister said that the new bus stand project will be completed by June 2023 at a cost of Rs4 billion. The project will include construction of workshops, rest areas, waiting areas, service station, petrol pump, solar system etc. “The new bus stand will help in resolving traffic related issues in Peshawar as 16 small and major bus stands will be shifted out of the city,” the chief minister told media.

The chief minister informed that 303 kanal new Peshawar General Bus Stand will be constructed according to international standard and will have all facilities for passengers.
Bashirabad Family Park
The CM Khan also inaugurated family party at Bashirabad that covers an area of 30 kanals which has been completed at a cost of Rs70 million. Provincial Cabinet members Taimur Khan Jhagra, Kamran Bangash, Faisal Amin Gandapur, Provincial Assembly members Asif Khan, Fazal Elahi, Malik Wajda and Arbab Jehandad also accompanied the Chief Minister.
The chief minister announced that provincial government will provide all possible assistance to the local body representatives for resolving public issues. The Chief Minister added that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s aim is resolve the issues faced by low-income class of the country. He said that Imran Khan had made it clear to the international community that relations will be on the basis of equality. “The opposition political parties are dancing to the tune of external forces and they had no agenda or plan for the development of the country,” the chief minister alleged.
The Chief Minister claimed that no matter what the opposition parties do, they cannot harm the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
