NASA’s Perseverance rover was able to give us an “out of this world” experience by recording a Mar’s moon, Phobos, facing an eclipse. The eclipse lasted 40 seconds and was recorded using the rover’s Mastcam-Z camera system.
Since the moon is quite small, it was a partial eclipse.
According to NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, it is the most zoomed-in observation of a solar eclipse from the Martian surface.
