The coalition government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has finally issued a passport to the PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.
The new development comes at a time when rumors around the return of the convicted former PM are rife.
The nature of the said passport was said to be “ordinary”, contrary to the expectations of some and fears of others.
As per media reports, the new passport was issued to the PML-N leader on April, 23rd.
The former PM is already convicted and was serving a jail sentence when he left the country for “medical treatment” after falling “ill” in the prison.
Nawaz Sharif can now travel anywhere after getting his passport.
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah last week had hinted at issuing a diplomatic passport to the ex-PM.
He had said that depriving the three-times PM of the country was “unfortunate”.
