The dead body of a person, abducted in broad daylight, was found after a few hours of absconding from Mulazai Bazar Area Regi Police station on Friday.
The accused managed to evade this horrific incident. According to the sources, the complainant, Jahangir, son of Niaz Muhammad, an inhabitant of Maskinabad Mulazai, had filed a report the previous day after the abduction of Mughal Khan.
The report read that Jahangir along with his cousins Mughal Khan and Ehtishamullah, s/o Zareen Shah, residents of Regi, went to the market where they were badly beaten by a few farmers. The culprits, Gulshan, son of Tora Baz, Khanshad, son of Kifayat, Sadaqat, son of Sakhawat, Irfan, son of Mula Jan, Ihtisham, resident of Charsadda, and Afaq, resident of Ghari Fazl e Haq, beaten them with the butt of their weapons, causing them severe injuries.
After the incident, the accused took Mughal Khan with them to an unfamiliar place. The dead body of the deceased, Mughal Khan, was recovered from Shahi Bala.
The police have shifted the dead body to the hospital for post-mortem and have begun to search for the accused.
