Islamabad: The government’s request to postpone the by-elections was rejected by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Important decisions were taken in a meeting summoned by the ECP on request of the Interior Ministry of Pakistan regarding the by-elections.
The Election Commission of Pakistan rejected the request to postpone the elections. The by-elections will be held on October 16 in all constituencies except Karam District as per schedule.
