Peshawar: A school girl in Peshawar was allegedly tortured for filing a complaint against the school administration in Peshawar.
Where a school should be a safe haven for kids, many people tend to turn it into a pathetic experience for young children. The effects that schools have on young minds mould their personalities for life.
A terrible incident of violence was seen in Peshawar today. A young school girl was allegedly tortured after filing a complaint against the school administration on the citizen portal.
It was reported that the girl had filed a complaint against the school as they would force the students to clean the school during classes. The girl had taken the help of her parents to file a complaint on the citizen portal.
After filing the complaint, as stated by the girl’s mother, the principal of the school and the teacher allegedly tortured and beat the girl because she complained at home.
According to research, Pakistan has 43% violence in schools. Whereas the responsibility of a child’s future lies upon the shoulders of the parents, educational institutions also play an equal role in the upbringing of a child. Treating a child in such an appalling way is not justified whatsoever. The mother of the child, therefore, appealed to the Education Department to take notice of the matter.
