Peshawar: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and the Airport Security Force (ASF) successfully recovered hundreds of pills and other destructive drugs during an operation at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar.
9300 narcotic pills were recovered from an accused travelling to the UAE. The drug trafficker, a resident of Bannu, was smuggling the pills from Peshawar to Sharjah.
In the second operation, 1 Kg and 521 grams of ice was recovered from the trolley bag. This particular person was a resident of Khyber. The accused intended to smuggle the drugs to Doha from Peshawar.
Furthermore, during a joint operation by ANF and FC, 20 kg of marijuana was recovered from Orakzai agency in plastic bags while 6 kg of marijuana was recovered from 2 accused in Hyderabad.
Cases have been registered against all the arrested accused under the anti-narcotics act. Further investigation has been commenced.
