A 6-year-old boy was found dead in Kohat after being assaulted. Shahryar was malevolently tortured, raped, killed, and thrown away in a dry well.
Another frightening and emotionally draining incident has been reported in Kohat. The heart quivers with pain as it paints the picture of a six-year-old, begging for mercy, crying for help, unheard, unnoticed.
The body of the 6-year-old Shahryar, who was told that the world was a beautiful place to live in, who was told that his homeland was safe, who was told that it is perilous to be around animals and safe around humans, was found in a dry well, lifeless and dead.
The accused, Muhammad Anwar, son of Akbar, a resident of Mamuzai Orakzai, has confessed to the atrocious crime. The vicious accused had tortured the little boy after raping him. Shahryar was stabbed with a knife and strangled to death. His body was then mercilessly thrown into a dry well.
How many more children will this land sacrifice before the atrocities on innocent souls end? How many more lives and families will be ruined before the hyaenas roaming freely around will be punished for their deeds? How many more voices will go unheard and unnoticed? The questions remain unanswered.
