Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s plea for the exemption of Imran Khan from his presence in the court was approved today. Imran Khan was mandated to present before the court in the prohibited foreign funding case.
Imran Khan’s interim bail application was heard in the anti-terrorism court of Islamabad. The hearing on Imran Khan’s request for exemption from attendance in the foreign funding case was executed by Judge Rukhshanda Shaheen of Banking Court Islamabad. The interim bail application was heard in the terrorism case filed against Imran Khan at Tarnol police station.
Imran Khan’s lawyer, Babar Awan, appeared in the Anti-Terrorism Court. He filed a request for immunity from Imran Khan’s appearance and exemption from attendance, as IK was engaged in the procession of the long march.
The request was accepted by the court. The banking court extended Imran Khan’s interim bail till November 10.
