The temperature in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has further dropped a few degrees after a new series of rain entered the province. A new series of rain, hail and snowfall has lashed the central and upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar.
According to the Meterological Department, hailstorms are likely to be expected along with rain. The highest rainfall of 26mm has been recorded in Peshawar during the last 24 hours by the Meteorological Department.
8mm in Chitral, 7mm in Dir, 5mm in Mirkhani, 4mm in Takhtbhai, 3mm in Kalam, and 2mm of rainfall has been recorded in the Bajaur region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Moreover, the mountains of the province have turned into a winter wonderland as continuous snowfall has been reported on the peaks of Malakand and Hazara divisions.
The rains and hail will continue in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province for the next 24 hours, says the Meteorological Department.
