Ice addiction in Peshawar took three lives in Safaid Sing Area in Regi on Sunday. 24-year-old, Nazer Ali, committed suicide after killing his wife and sister-in-law.
According to the Regi police, Nazer Ali, son of Syed Kamal, a resident of Safaid Sang, had recently returned from Saudi Arabia. Nazer Ali was highly addicted to ice. The alleged culprit opened fire after a heated argument with his wife and sister-in-law. Consequently, the wife, Jannat Bibi, and the sister-in-law of the alleged, Nabila, wife of Ishaq, lost the battle of life to domestic violence.
After brutally killing the two, Nazer Ali shot himself dead. Moreover, the brother of the deceased, Ishaq, was also wounded in the incident.
The Area Nazim, Hanif, told the police that Nazer Ali had recently returned from Saudi Arabia. Ali was highly addicted to ice and was therefore not mentally stable.
However, the initial investigation made the case suspicious. Three bullet marks were found on the body of the alleged culprit. The dead bodies have been shifted for post-mortem and further investigation has been initiated into the matter.
