Scattered rain, wind, thunderstorms and snowfall over hilly areas are likely to occur. Swat, Shangla, Upper and Lower Dir, Kohistan, Torghar, Battagram, Mansehra, and Abbottabad districts are expected to experience heavy rains and thunderstorms in the coming days.
The temperature in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is gradually decreasing as the year progresses toward its end. Mainly cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province.
For instance, isolated rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected over Chitral, Lower Dir Malakand, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, and Kurram districts.
Fog in isolated pockets is likely to occur in Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar, and DI Khan districts. The Peshawar to Swabi Motorway is also expected to be wrapped up in the foggy mists during the late night and morning hours.
19mm of rain was recorded in Pattan and Tirah Khyber, 18 mm in Malamjaba, and 16 mm of rain was recorded in Dir. Whereas 15 mm of rain was recorded in Timergara, Balakot, and Cherat, 13 mm in Landikotal, and 11 mm were recorded in Kakul and Buner.
Moreover, 10mm was recorded in Saidu Sharif and Pashat Bajaur, 8mm in Mirkhani, Parachinar, Kalam and DI Khan, 7mm in Takht Bhai, Drosh and Khaar Bajaur, 6mm in Peshawar and Mamad Gut, 4mm in Bannu, and 3mm rain was recorded in Chitral.
