The Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan stated in an exclusive interview to France 24 English that his life is still in danger. He expressed in the interview that he doesn’t want the bad ties with the USA to have an impact on the interest of the people of Pakistan and that there is no going back on the matter of the cipher.

Imran Khan was further questioned about the Wazirabad incident. IK told the journalist that he had been the prime minister of the country. He is acquainted with how the intelligence agencies of the country operate as they used to work under him. He stated that he was well aware of who was the culprit behind the Wazirabad incident. It was all planned.

The attack was planned, says IK

IK informed the media that he had released a video six weeks before the attack where he addressed the people and told them that his life was threatened. In the video, the former Prime Minister had said that an assassination based on religious beliefs was planned for him.

The journalist asked the Chairaman PTI that if the accused of the Wazirabad incident admitted to his crime, why does he keep repeating a few names to be blamed for the attack. In his response, IK said that two culprits were involved in the attack.

Refering to the current PM of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah, IK further said that killing their opponents is not something very unusual for them. They have been doing that for years. Moreover, the same people were culprits behind the Model Town Tragedy where the lives of 12 people were put to an end.

He further said that a clear and transparent investigation into the Wazirabad incident will prove the truth. The civilian who claimed to attack on the basis of religion is lost in his faith too, says IK.
