The Pakistani short film “Naam Badal Dina” has been included along with six other films from different countries in the list of the best short films of the Cannes World Film Festival.
This 26-minute short film directed by Pakistani director Arsheela Salman has Hira Khan and Arsalan Khan playing the lead roles. The actors have recently stepped into the showbiz industry.
Naam Badal Deena is based on ‘Woman Psychology’. The story of this film revolves around two best friends who get married along with keeping the friendship intact. According to Naveed Farooqui, the executive producer of the film, the makers of the film have tried to show the deep friendship and love between a husband and wife.
The story of the film was written by Rida Bilal, who had been given six awards at international film festivals before being nominated in Cannes.
