The District Education Authority has implied the cancellation of the registration of Scarsdale, the private school in Lahore in which a student was assaulted by her fellows. The authorities have also recommended that a fine of Rs 6 lakh should be levied on the school.
Since the video of four female students attacking and assaulting a girl at the Scarsdale International School in Lahore surfaced on social media, the institute has been under severe criticism. The five female students, including the four accused of torture and the victim of the assault, were also suspended from school on Tuesday.

A video of the girls hitting the victim went viral on social media on January 21. The police filed a first information report (FIR) against the accused under sections 337A, I 354, and 379 of the PPC.
An FIR was filed by the victim’s father, Imran Younas, which claimed that his daughter’s classmate was a drug addict who desired his daughter to work for her. According to the FIR, one of the girls allegedly also possessed a dagger and stole the victim’s gold chain and a locket during the attack.
