Following the suicide attack on a mosque in Police Lines Peshawar, 20 to 25 militants with modern weapons attacked Makerwal police station in Mianwali during the late hours on Tuesday.
After the exchange of fire between the militants and the police personnel continued for a while, the attacking terrorists were repulsed by the retaliatory action of the policemen and were forced to flee.
