Saudi Arabia has decided to allow stopover passengers to enter the state on a free transit visa for 4 days.
According to Saudi media, a free transit visa service has been launched to promote tourism and provide more people with the opportunity to perform Umrah. This facility will be provided for stopover passengers of Saudia Airlines and Flynas.
The transit visa will be provided free of charge and will be valid for 3 months. Stopover passengers with this visa will be able to stay, eat and travel in Saudi Arabia for up to 96 hours.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, it is stated that the decision to provide free transit visas for pilgrims and tourists has been made under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030, which aims to make Saudi Arabia a promising country for tourism.
