The body of a 23-year-old girl, Sharaban, was found in a car in Germany in August last year.
However, when the post-mortem was conducted the next day and the forensic report revealed that the body was not that of Sharaban. It was a matter of surprise and concern for the police as well as the family.
When the police expanded the scope of the investigation, it was found that the body was that of a blogger named Khadija, who belonged to Algeria, but her appearance was very similar to Sharaban, a German girl of Iraqi origin.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Sharaban killed the Algerian beauty blogger to fake her death. Sharaban connected with Khadija through Instagram.
Sharaban called Khadija for a meeting and killed her in the car with the help of her friend. The police arrested both the accused and they are facing a life sentence claim in court.
