The investigation team of the suicide attack on the Police Lines mosque has revealed that the suicide bomber entered the premises of one of the highly secured areas of the city as a guest.
All the CCTV footage of the police lines and surrounding areas has been obtained. According to the investigation team, the attacker was facilitated by the police lines.
According to the investigation team, work is underway on the entry of four suspects who entered at different times initially and it has to be seen if the suspects were facilitators. Furthermore, the team declared that the organs of the suicide bomber had also been sent for DNA tests on Wednesday.
Security in the area has been tightened at the entrances of police lines while additional personnel has been deployed at the main gate. The investigation teams have also started profiling the staff of the police lines.
