Pakistan has been listed amongst the happiest and contented nations in the world. This year, too, Finland retained first place and won the title of the happiest nation for the sixth year in a row. Denmark is second and Switzerland is third.
It turns out that Pakistanis are mentally happier and more satisfied than Indians. For instance, Pakistan is ranked 103rd in the survey, while India, the world’s largest democracy, is ranked 136th.
Among the world’s unhappiest nations, Afghanistan, a war-torn country for decades, ranks first, followed by Zimbabwe and Rwanda.
It is pertinent to mention that the classification of the happiest nations of the world is based on the aspiration of the people living there, the human potential and the impact of the environment on life.
