A threat alert has been issued on the report of the entry of an alleged suicide bomber in Peshawar. The security was put on high alert throughout the city upon receiving the report.
It is feared that the alleged suicide bomber may target government facilities. According to sources, sensitive agencies have received information about the entry of an alleged suicide bomber into Peshawar. The alleged suicide bomber is identified as Qari, aged 19 years old and is said to be from Dabtikot Nangarhar district.
The alleged suicide bomber is suspected to be hiding in Peshawar’s Hastnagari, Firdous and its surrounding areas with the aim of targeting government institutions and buildings. In this regard, all security forces have been urged to remain on high alert and tighten security.
It should be noted that even before this information was received about the entry of an alleged suicide bomber into sensitive institutions, after which the security was put on high alert. After the explosion of the police lines in Peshawar, extraordinary security arrangements have been made at sensitive facilities and places.
