In a shocking turn of events, more than 600 leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, including former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former assembly members, have been included in the notorious blacklist.
According to sources from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Imran Khan and over 600 former assembly members and PTI officials have been added to the blacklist in connection with their involvement in the May 9th protest incidents.
The sources suggest that in order to prevent PTI leaders from traveling abroad, their names have been listed in the Provincial National Identification List (PNIL) of the FIA.
It has also been revealed that Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, has also been included in the blacklist.
Furthermore, the names of Murad Saeed, Maleeka Bokhari, Fawad Chaudhry, Hammad Azhar, Qasim Suri, Asad Qaiser, Yasmeen Rashid, and Mian Aslam Iqbal have been added to the blacklist.
The sources claim that in the past three days, some officials and members attempted to travel abroad, but were stopped at airports by the police, CTD, and intelligence agencies, aiming to prevent them from leaving the country.
