In a shocking turn of events, Jung Yoo-Jung from South Korea assumed the guise of a student to carry out a heinous act of murder against her tutor, with whom she had arranged an online consultation. Deception and darkness intertwined as Yoo-Jung disguised herself as a concerned mother seeking an English tutor for her fictitious daughter through an online app. Following their initial connection, a sinister plan began to take shape.
On the fateful day of May 26, Yoo-Jung arrived at the victim’s residence donning a school uniform, meticulously playing the role of an innocent student. Once granted access, the unthinkable occurred. With cold precision, she viciously stabbed the unsuspecting tutor multiple times before callously dismembering the lifeless body.
To conceal her monstrous act, Jung meticulously arranged the victim’s remains in a suitcase, cleverly hiding her personal effects to create the illusion of an intended journey. Determined to dispose of the evidence, she hailed a taxi and set off for the Nakdong River. However, it was the observant cabbie who sensed something was amiss, prompting a crucial call to the police.
Following the alert, law enforcement discovered the suitcase near the riverside, leading to the swift arrest of Jung at her residence. Shockingly, she readily admitted her guilt. The motive behind this horrifying crime revealed a twisted fascination with criminal activities, nurtured by her obsession with crime shows and literature.
A police spokesperson from Busan expressed the chilling details: “Jung’s premeditated actions stemmed from a morbid desire to kill, cultivated through her relentless consumption of crime-related media. We are currently evaluating her mental state to determine if she exhibits psychopathic tendencies.”
