The Taliban spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, has rejected the statement made by Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Asad Ali Durrani, regarding the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during an interview with Afghan media.
According to Afghan media, Asad Ali Durrani had welcomed the decision of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to relocate the TTP to Afghan territories. In response to Durrani’s statement, the Taliban spokesperson stated that the migrants from Waziristan who entered Afghanistan due to conflicts would be sent back to Pakistan.
Taliban leader Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the transfer of these individuals to Pakistan would ensure the protection of Pakistan from potential threats. He emphasized that if anyone in Pakistan is engaged in any activities or movements, it is Pakistan’s own issue.
He further stated that Pakistan should resolve its own issues and that the Taliban are committed to not allowing anyone to pose a threat to Pakistan from Afghan territory.
Zabihullah Mujahid’s statement emphasizes the Taliban’s commitment to ensuring Pakistan’s security by returning individuals who could pose threats to Afghanistan.
