Bajaur faces a devastating attack where more than 40 people have been martyred and more than 150 wounded individuals are transported to nearby hospitals
The casualties were reported during the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s workers convention where the explosion occurred. Molana Ziaullah Jan, the affluent leader of JUI, Molana Hamidullah Haqani, General Secretary of JUI, Haji Mujahid, Secretary of Information of JUI, and his son Zia-ud-Din embraced martyrdom in the blast.
Bajaur is witnessing an influx of injured and deceased being rushed to Khwar Hospital. However, the hospital faces severe challenges in providing adequate facilities to the victims due to limited resources.
As the gravity of the situation sinks in, Rescue 1122 has dispatched six additional ambulances from Mohmand and Lower Dir to augment the response efforts. The severely injured are being shifted to hospitals in neighboring districts, with every possible measure being taken to ensure their safety and treatment.
