With the rising cost of petrol becoming a concern for many, people have started installing LPG kits on their motorcycles as a means to save on fuel expenses.
City dwellers report that LPG provides an excellent mileage boost. While a liter of petrol typically covers a distance of 40-45 kilometers, motorcycles equipped with a 1-kilogram LPG cylinder can travel up to 100 kilometers.
The increased demand for LPG kits has also led to a price hike, with the cost of a standard kit, which used to be around 4,500 rupees, now reaching up to 6,000 rupees. However, it’s important to note that using LPG on motorcycles can be hazardous, and safety precautions must be taken.
