In a pivotal development, all major political parties in the country have declared their support for forming a coalition government and backing the Muslim League (N) for the premiership.
According to details, a crucial meeting of political leaders was held at the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the head of the Muslim League (Q), which saw the participation of prominent figures including Asif Zardari, and Shehbaz Sharif.
The meeting delved into the current political situation of the country and discussions regarding the formation of the next government ensued, leading to unanimous support for the PML-N in the federal setup.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari, speaking to the media after the session, emphasized the collective resolve of all major political parties to steer the nation out of crises, stating, “We must unite to address the challenges facing our country. Our economic and defense agendas should be aligned.”
He further stressed the importance of consensus-building and inclusive governance, asserting, “It is imperative that we embrace reconciliation for the betterment of the nation, with PTI also participating in the process.”
“We will work together to govern the country and tackle its problems. Our opposition was only until the elections; today’s decision shows that we can stabilize the country, which is better for democracy,” he added passionately, reiterating the call for a unified Pakistan.
