Peshawar Zalmi, one of the franchises of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has dropped its new anthem for the tournament, setting the stage on fire with a captivating blend of cricketing prowess and star power.
In the official song of Peshawar Zalmi, former captain of the national cricket team and star batsman Babar Azam joins hands with model and actress Hania Amir, adding an extra layer of glamour to the team’s anthem. Renowned singer Rahim Shah lends his melodious voice to the Pashto-language track.
Written and produced by Abdullah Siddiqui, Zahoor, and Asfand Yar, this new anthem sets the tone for PSL’s ninth edition, which kicks off today. The inaugural ceremony of PSL 9 will witness the participation of various celebrities, including singers Ali Zafar and Aima Baig, who will perform alongside other renowned personalities.
Interestingly, besides Peshawar Zalmi, no other franchise has released its anthem for PSL yet, indicating the anticipation and excitement surrounding Zalmi’s musical offering for this season.
