Omar Ayub, the nominee for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the position of Prime Minister, has asserted that PTI will form the government in both the center and Punjab.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad alongside PTI Chairman, Gohar Ali Khan, Omar Ayub stated that being chosen as the Prime Ministerial nominee by the founder of PTI is a testament to the historic mandate and three crore votes received by the party. He emphasized the need for the notification of their seats, pointing out their tally of 180 seats.
Ayub expressed confidence in PTI’s ability to establish governments in both the center and Punjab, citing the party’s numbers and understanding of how to prove majority in the house.
He outlined their first objective as taking actions for the incarcerated workers and leaders of PTI, acknowledging the economic downturn and rampant inflation, factors that led the public to mandate PTI. Ayub also mentioned the issuance of Form 47 on successful PTI seats.
Furthermore, he addressed the allegations of rigging, stating that PTI had collaborated with the Election Commission for a transparent inquiry into the matter and urged Chief Justice to ensure a fair investigation, excluding any commissioners from Rawalpindi involved in electoral malpractice.
