Two students from Thailand have pioneered a novel entrepreneurial venture aimed at issuing certificates for ghost-free homes, in which they sleep overnight to ensure the issuance of certificates.
According to media reports, the innovative business approach is spearheaded by two students from the province of Chiang Mai, studying at the Rajamangala University of Technology. The 21-year-old student Waifi Cheng and his colleague, 22-year-old Bonparakang, a real estate agent, have embarked on this unique business endeavor.
Waifi Cheng was aware of the challenges real estate agents face when selling properties where deaths have occurred in the past. Recognizing an opportunity, he realized they could provide a service by issuing certificates declaring homes free from ghosts.
Consequently, with the assistance of his partner, Bonparakang, they began advertising their services on social media platforms. Their advertisements prominently offer overnight stays in visibly haunted houses and apartments, following which they issue certificates declaring the properties ghost-free to prospective buyers or tenants.
This innovative approach has garnered attention for its unconventional yet practical solution to a common concern in real estate transactions. By spending a night in these properties, Waifi Cheng and Bonparakang are not only providing reassurance to potential clients but also creating a buzz in the market with their ghost-free certificates.
