Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has signaled potential cabinet reshuffles due to unsatisfactory performances by several ministers. This revelation came during an internal meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary party at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
According to sources, the meeting saw numerous complaints from assembly members regarding the inefficacy of the Minister of Health and other key ministers. These grievances prompted Gandapur to issue a stern warning, indicating that ministers failing to meet performance standards may soon find themselves replaced. “We cannot afford to have any lapses in our administration, especially in critical sectors like health,” said Gandapur.
The assembly members expressed their concerns about various administrative inefficiencies, particularly highlighting issues in the health sector which have caused significant public dissatisfaction. The Health Minister’s alleged inability to effectively manage the department amid a growing need for improved healthcare services was a focal point of the discussions.
Additionally, the meeting also delved into the possible changes in the positions of Chief Secretary and Inspector General of Police, signaling a broader administrative shakeup aimed at enhancing governance and efficiency in the province.
Gandapur’s firm stance underscores his commitment to ensuring that the provincial government delivers on its promises of good governance and public service. By holding his ministers accountable, he aims to address the pressing concerns of the citizens and improve overall government performance.
