The security forces’ operation against terrorists who attacked the Jaffer Express has entered its final stages, according to security sources. A large number of hostages, including women and children, who were being used as human shields, have been rescued.
Earlier, 190 passengers had already been freed, and the ongoing clearance operation is being conducted with extreme caution and expertise to ensure the safety of all remaining hostages.
Security forces have confirmed that all terrorists present at the scene have been eliminated. However, authorities are still assessing the number of passengers who fell victim to the brutality of the attackers.
