Pakistan Army spokesperson Lt-Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has hailed the critical role of the people of Pakistan — especially students — in the success of operation Bunyān-um-Marsoos, emphasizing that the operation decisively shattered India’s strategic assumptions.
Speaking at a gathering at the Jinnah University for Women in Karachi, the Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) briefed the audience on the strategic depth, sacrifices, and success of the Pakistan Armed Forces in neutralising threats posed by enemy forces.
“The people of Pakistan, particularly the youth and students, were instrumental in the success of operation Bunyān-um-Marsoos. Their unity and vigilance helped foil the enemy’s nefarious designs,” said the DG ISPR.
“India’s strategic illusions have been buried permanently,” he added.
The DG ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering stance on Kashmir, calling it the jugular vein of the country.
Commenting on Balochistan, he stated, “The people of Balochistan are deeply connected to Pakistan through bonds of religion, culture, and tradition. A handful of Fitnatul Hindustan terrorists cannot destabilise the province.”
During the session, students expressed strong support for the armed forces, stating, “We are with our forces, and our forces are with the people.”
The atmosphere was filled with patriotism and enthusiasm, with students demanding more such interactive sessions in the future.
The university administration also lauded the military’s successful operation and reaffirmed the institution’s support for national defence efforts.
