Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan on Friday paid a brief visit to Mardan district where they visited the house of Syed Ahmed, a worker who was martyred during long march and offered condolences to his family.
On this occasion, the leaders expressed their heartfelt condolences to the family of martyr Syed Ahmad Jan and prayed for the elevation of the rank of martyr. Imran Khan said that Syed Ahmad Jan is a martyr of independence march and martyrs have a great status in our religion. Sacrifice of sincere workers like Syed Ahmad Jan brings true freedom.
He said that the party was proud of the sacrifice of the martyr which they would never forget. The party will not leave the family of the martyr alone and every possible care will be taken of his children. Provincial Minister Atif Khan, Members Provincial Assembly Iftikhar Mashwani, Abdul Salam, Zahir Shah Toro and others were also present on the occasion.
