Khyber Paktunkhwa: Chief minister KP stated that the opposition members in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly refused to help the flood victims.
Mahmood Khan, Chief Minister KP, with great grief, declared that 51 members of JUI, PP, PMLN, JI and ANP had requested to return the salary deduction.
The Chief Minister, KP, was extremely disappointed with this cold heartedness of the government officials. According to the sources, a small deduction was made from wages of government officials to help the flood victims. Members of the opposition in the KP assembly refused to make any such donation.
Mahmood Khan told the media that the refusal of public representatives to help the public is pathetic and least expected. He further said that rehabilitation of flood victims is a national problem.
In addition to his statements, the CM KP said that the opposition are not public representatives, public welfare is not their goal. The only mission that the opposition is on is to loot the national treasury.
Moreover, it was stated that the federal government did not pay any funds for the province and the adjoining districts. CM KP expressed his resentment over the matter and said that it’s a matter of great shame.
People of every school of thought played their part in the relief operations but the Biased opposition parties have lost their moral justification, stated Mahmood Khan.
