Nowshehra: A 13-year-old boy was found dead in his workplace in Nowshehra last week. The reason behind the death of the child remains unknown.
The smaller the dead bodies, the heavier the coffins. The heart wrenches when a child dies and it shatters into millions of pieces when it is a child like Amjad Ali. Far away from his dwelling to help his family meet ends, the innocent child gave up on his desire to live.
Amjad Ali, a resident of Kalkot upper Dir, was found dead at his workplace last week. The child used to work as a house servant in Nowshehra. Amjad Ali was only 13 years old when he departed from the evil world which offered him nothing but misery. The mystery of his demise is yet to be resolved.
Wouldn’t he have called for his mother when he breathed his last? Would the problems that had brought him to such an inevitable fate not flash before his eyes as he closed them forever? Wouldn’t he have asked the lord, why him? Wouldn’t he have hoped for justice while he could?
Thousands of children and millions of victims of violence remain unavenged, shrieked and overlooked. The inhumanity has raised billions of questions, but none of them have been answered.
