A major development in resolving the political dispute between the PTI and the government has been reported.
A direct meeting was held between the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf led by Imran Khan and government representatives to discuss a way out of the political disputes.
A meeting was held between the two parties 2 days ago. PTI aims for the general elections to be held soon. The largest political party in Pakistan has demanded by-elections as soon as March or April 2023. In return, PTI will agree to an alliance on economic and institutional reforms.
Imran Khan, Chairman of PTI, is insisting on early elections. The PDM leadership, on the other hand, presses on with the completion of the term of its government. After a gap of several months, the respective leadership is bringing forward the matters pertained to between the two parties.
