PTI workers are protesting all over the country after Tehreek-e-Insaf announced a nationwide protest after Friday prayers today.
Asad Umar, senior leader of the PTI, announced that the nationwide protests would continue until the demands are met. PTI workers all around the country have come out on the call of their leadership to protest against the government. The protesters want the government to fulfill the demands desired by Tehreek e Insaf.
Things are getting out of hand after every minute in the country, hence a quick resolution is needed. PTI workers in Lahore have set the gate of Governor House Lahore on fire. The workers also broke the globes on the gate.
Moreover, a clash has been reported between police and PTI workers in Faizabad. The police detained several workers and have initiated shelling on the protesters.
The PTI workers in Peshawar have also come out to protest against the attack on Imran Khan in Wazirabad. Peshawar toll plaza has been closed to traffic and no one is permitted to get in or out of the city unless there is a medical emergency.
Furthermore, the police and the PTI workers have come face to face near Regent Plaza in Shahrah e Faisal, Karachi. The police have begun shelling with tear gas, firing, and baton charges at the protesters to disperse the crowds. PTI workers were also arrested to halt them from protesting.
The ongoing nationwide protest by PTI desires the fulfillment of the demands by Chairman Tehreek e Insaf who was shot in the leg in a deadly attack in Wazirabad on Thursday.
