There is a suspicion that the mid-term elections in the US are likely to be affected by the expulsion of Twitter employees. The layoffs on Twitter by Elon Musk are expected to affect the US mid-term elections.
According to the US media, the important staff members who had to reveal the truth about the false information related to the elections have also been fired. The expulsion of the employees took place just 4 days before the elections.
Many of the dismissed employees were assigned to bring out facts related to misleading tweets. Whereas some were assigned to communicate with the election campaign staff, some of the dismissed employees who were also responsible for answering rumors by contacting journalists were also laid off.
According to reports, some of the fired Twitter employees were to monitor the election and some were to look for signs of outside interference. The reports further stated that the people who were fired included Kevin fired included was doing editorial planning on Twitter for the midterm elections.
After Elon Musk took control of Twitter, there were reports of layoffs, and the process began on November 4. During this layoff process, 50 percent of the company’s employees could be fired.
