The Islamabad administration has warned that the entrances to Islamabad from Rawalpindi are expected to be closed on November 26. An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of IG Islamabad, Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, regarding public order.
It was decided in the meeting that illegal activities of any sort would not be tolerated in Islamabad and that the security of the red zone would be ensured. Police, FC, and Rangers will be deployed in the capital city to secure the area.
According to the spokesperson of the police, it was decided that keeping in view the threats of terrorism, search operations will be conducted throughout the district. Moreover, strict action will be taken on any kind of legal obstruction. It was also reported that the personnel posted on duty will be equipped with modern technology.
PTI’s Long March will finally reach Rawalpindi on November 26. The March is planned to be led by the PTI Chairman, Imran Khan, to Islamabad. Early elections are demanded by the PTI to gain true freedom from the government that, according to them, is imported and imposed.
