After defeating New Zealand in the first ODI at their home ground, Pakistan secured second position in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the points table on the social networking site Twitter, in which India is in first position with 139 points from 21 matches, while Pakistan is in second position with 130 points from 19 matches.
Similarly, New Zealand is third with 130 points from 19 matches, England is fourth with 125 points from 18 matches, Australia is fifth with 120 points from 18 matches, and Bangladesh is in sixth position with 120 points from 18 matches.
It should be noted that the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is being hosted by India for the fourth time in history. 10 teams will compete in the ICC mega event which will be knocked out after the round-robin stage. The winning team will get two points in each match, while in the case of a draw, one point each will be awarded.
