In a stunning revelation that has left the nation in disbelief, the Food Department has successfully exposed a group involved in a heinous act of turning chicken bones into mincemeat. This audacious scheme, aimed at deceiving food point owners and endangering public health, was brought to light through the relentless efforts of the Food Department officials.
Swift Action and a Grim Discovery
Under the determined leadership of Secretary Abid Khan Wazir and Director Yasir Hasan, the Food Department swiftly moved into action. Rationing Controller Peshawar, Jamshed Afridi, alongside Assistant Food Controllers Tasbihullah Kamal Ahmed and Food Inspector Shah Fahad, orchestrated a raid on warehouses near Jinnah Park. What they uncovered was truly shocking.
Upon entering the premises, the officers were greeted by the sight of bone-extraction machines diligently at work, grinding chicken bones into mincemeat. The sheer audacity of the operation left the food department officials indignant. They wasted no time in destroying the machines and seizing a whopping 20,000 kg of bones, thereby halting the production line of this deceitful enterprise.
Actions Taken:
In a display of zero tolerance for such unethical practices, the food department officers promptly handed over the accused individuals to the concerned police station. Furthermore, the officers clarified that the processed meat, derived from these chicken bones, was being supplied to various food establishments, including Shaadi Halls, Shami Kebab, Samosa Roll, Chapli Kebab, and Seekh Kebab vendors.
Rationing Controller Peshawar, Jamshed Afridi, expressed his satisfaction with the swift action taken by his team, emphasizing that those who flout hygiene regulations do not deserve any leniency. He firmly stated that individuals who endanger public health by selling toxic food will be dealt with firmly and unequivocally.
