A team of brave Rescue divers emerged as heroes after saving three young boys and a whopping 147 goats from the treacherous waters of the Tochi River in Syedabad, North Waziristan. The rescue was triggered when the control room received a distress call about the animals and boys trapped in deep waters.
Risking their lives, the determined rescuers embarked on a two-hour-long mission, retrieving the stranded goats who were crossing the river after grazing in the area. The successful operation not only saved the innocent animals but also reunited the three boys with their worried families.
In a parallel display of law enforcement’s grit, the police launched raids in Lakki Marwat and Bannu districts, apprehending three notorious proclaimed offenders and numerous suspects as part of their Muharram security plan. Weapons were seized, including a staggering 11 Kalashnikovs, 63 pistols, and more, bolstering the authorities’ efforts to maintain peace during the solemn month.
